Free campaign URL tool

Campaign QR code builder

Add clear UTM parameters to an HTTP or HTTPS destination, inspect the final URL, and create a static QR code without sending campaign data away.

Private by architecture

Your campaign values stay on your device

The destination, UTM values, QR generation and quality checks all remain in this browser. Nothing is stored, sent to an analytics service or persisted between visits.

Build a UTM QR code for GA4 campaigns

A campaign QR code is simply a QR whose destination contains deliberate campaign parameters. Use consistent utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values so visits from offline material can be grouped meaningfully after the destination page loads.

The builder keeps unrelated query parameters and URL fragments, replaces existing UTM keys predictably and shows the final campaign URL before QR download.

A UTM visit is not the same thing as a counted scan

A static QR code does not know that a camera looked at it.

UTM parameters can help analytics identify the resulting website visit after the destination loads and the destination site’s analytics configuration runs. They do not guarantee a one-to-one QR scan count.

That distinction remains important even when other services use looser “track QR scans” wording.

Practical guidance

Use campaign links deliberately

UTM parameters identify a campaign visit only after the destination loads and its analytics setup runs.

01

Name values consistently

Choose a shared lowercase, hyphen or underscore convention if it suits your reporting, but remember this tool preserves exactly what you enter.

02

Keep personal data out

Campaign values travel in the visible destination URL. Never include names, email addresses or other identifying information.

03

Test the full journey

Scan the downloaded QR, confirm the destination and then verify your own analytics configuration before a campaign launches.
